We are extremely proud of this achievement as the 25 Under 25® Awards is the only program of its kind in the Kansas City area that specifically targets businesses with fewer than 25 employees. According to Thinking Bigger Business Media, “This segment of business comprises the largest number of companies both locally and nationally, with roughly 83 percent of the Kansas City area and 86 percent of businesses nationwide employing 19 or fewer employees.”
Thinking Bigger Business Media estimated that there were more than 1,400 nominations in 2015, with 25 small businesses selected to receive this distinguished award. Winners were chosen by an independent panel of judges consisting of area business leaders.
